Our Day Today
We have been working hard on our Scarecrow Stories! Yesterday we built sentences from our tree maps and today we drew a picture of our Unique Scarecrows!
This week has been all about sequencing stories. Today it became a little more challenging. We listened to a really long story called Room on the Broom. After the story was over, we filled in the longest flow map that we have done yet!
To close out the entire IB Unit, we all chose our own animal to create a poster about. The learners are required to put their animal in its natural habitat and show its adaptations needed to survive in that habitat. They also have to draw and demonstrate the life cycle and food chain of their animal. Here is a glimpse of the hard work they have been doing.
