Today for interactions of matter, we observed how solids and liquids can be mixed together to create butter! Then we combined more solids and liquids and watched how it changed when it was heated! WE MADE PANCAKES! The best part of the whole experiment was EATING IT! We used our homemade butter and put it on our pancakes! After we enjoyed our delicious pancakes and butter, we reflected about the experiments and made flow maps! Today we looked at all of our IB Learner Profile Traits and spent time reflecting about ourselves. We each chose a trait that reminded us most of ourselves and wrote about it! We did another version of the open number line today, but this time we used much bigger numbers! It was really interesting to listen in on the discussions about where certain numbers should go!
