This week we are talking about changes and the way things move through force and motion! All objects remain at rest until acted on by an outside force. We explored new vocabulary about movement and direction. To better understand this vocabulary, we talked about how these words are verbs! We read the book To Root, To Toot, To Parachute and then made a circle map of all the verbs we could think of! To practice verbs, we put some words into action and played a fun game of Verb Charades! It was a lot of fun trying to guess what the other teams were acting out! After playing Charades, we started to learn about forces and motion and learned new vocabulary by watching a really fun BrainPop Jr video and then looking at some new signs! We practiced this new vocabulary by playing a fun Force and Motion Memory Game with a partner! Eva is a Super Star because she is really good at swimming. She is happiest when she is doing Math and she is proud of herself because she loves learning. When she grows up, Eva wants to be a gymnast. Her favorite school subject is Science and her favorite book is Junie B. Jones! THANK YOU, EVA!!!
