We have been talking about all kinds of different weather! We made a circle map of all the different weather that we could think of. Then we worked with a partner to explore other weather concepts and even a little about different kinds of extreme weather on Pebble Go. We simulated a rain storm with water, shaving cream, and food coloring. We watched as our clouds became more and more full of moisture and then produced rain! We took some time to review what we have learned in this unit. We had a fun challenge of sorting vocabulary that has to do with matter, force/motion, magnets, and objects in the sky. We talked about composing shapes using other shapes today. We worked with a partner to count shapes that were parts of bigger images. Soukhya and Charvi both paid 50 tickets to be classroom photographers for a day! Check out their photos in this slideshow!
