This week we are practicing how to show respect. Having respect means that you are polite and kind to yourself and to others. We will be working hard to show this all week long. Today we took the word apart with the lexicon! We are getting so close to completing our projects! We spent some time today and will spend more time tomorrow, putting our final touches on our posters. We will be presenting at the end of the week! We are spending a lot of time reflecting this week. We will reflect on our report card addendum and chooses an IB Profile Attribute that describes us the best. Then we will write why we think the attribute is best. These reflections will also include a teacher reflection and a parent reflection. Our full literacy station rotations have kicked off. Each day we show our independence by filling out our spirals and making sure we mark each station we go to for the day. It is amazing how well this has been going! They are all independently choosing and documenting their stations while reading groups are pulled. Our Super Star of the Week this week is Jesiah! Jesiah is a super star because he races in Triathlons. He is happiest when he is traveling and is proud of himself for getting stuffed animals from mom and dad. When he grows up, Jesiah wants to be a Geologist, which of course means his favorite school subject is Science! Jesiah' favorite book is The Avengers: Age of Ultron. THANK YOU, JESIAH!!!
