Sharing the Planet
This week we are talking all about how animals change and adapt to their environments to survive. Yesterday we looked at the bodies of animals that live in Arctic Habitats and learned how they are so protected in the cold water and cold air. We read the book If You Were A Penguin to talk about how penguins survive in the cold. Blubber is a layer of fat that covers these animals and keeps them warm. We did a fun experiment to show how this works by simulating blubber coverage in ice water!
Can you find our fish?
This week we are reviewing Place Value from Module 1 of Go Math! We started out our review by finding the different places in 3 digit numbers.
