Today the weather will be...Last Friday, we worked on writing weather reports and then actually gave our weather reports on camera! Click your learner's name to watch their weather report! Our Day Today! We closed out our How the World Works Unit today by talking about the many ways that the world changes around us. We did a review to jog our memories of all the interesting things we have learned in the last six weeks during this unit. After our review, we talked about how all of these words are different ways that the world is constantly changing around us. We did a Frayer Model to show our understanding of 4 different ways that the world can constantly change. After completing the way that the world is constantly changing, we all took some time to reflect about how we ourselves can change the world and make it a better place. It's the holiday season...Time for some fun activities!!This week, we are doing a really fun writing piece called "Santa's Stuck!" This piece is based off the book Santa's Stuck. We are writing about what we would do if Santa were to ever get stuck in our chimney and how we would help get him out! Guidance with Ms. Kirkley!!Ms. Kirkley came in a taught a wonderful lesson about being gracious and appreciating the things that we have. She read two fantastic books to the class today! Tamales and A Chair For My Mother. SUPER STAR OF THE WEEK: YASHAS!Our Super Star of the Week this week is Yashas! When he grows up, Yashas wants to be a singer.
